You got to hand it to the guy, he's pretty smart. Besides mind boggling metaphorical lyrics, notice how each song has a purpose and hidden message. DC cats don't really fux wit that B-more house music, you know the OD fast pace dance music. I dated a B-more chic once and she was nuts...ANYWAY...Listen to the beginning of this track. It starts off with Wale wondering why the B-more hip hop station 92.3 won't play his music. So instead of making a big deal about it, he raps over their very own style of music. Wonder if he got radio play after this, it's a good collab. It just goes to show his lyrical ability, I'm not amping Wale at all...but you have to give credit where it is due. This was a clever move on his part. Also peep how much he shouts out BBC...dude is aiming for that sponsorship, sh*t free clothes is a good look!
