Movie Monday

The Avengers"Iron Man director Jon Favreau, who is developing a sequel to be released in April 2010, says Marvel's plan is "to team up the heroes for The Avengers, which is made up of all of the Marvel heroes they have the rights to."

Favreau says the team's lineup has changed throughout the years, "but the ones Marvel is talking about now are Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Ant-Man and Iron Man. I would love to see that."

Hancock
Not really sure how Will Smith's super hero debut Hancock did, but his billboard got defaced, entirely...They go pretty hard in London...shoutout to Kentaro who is leaving for London in August, we're gonna have some wild times on that visit!

Now you know...and knowing is half the battle
That was the line at the end of every G.I. Joe cartoon. Yes G.I. Joe was dropping knowledge back in the 90’s. But now we have the new movie poster for the upcoming 2009 release of G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra. The movie stars Channing Tatum, Dennis Quaid, Brendan Fraser, and Sienna Miller. Movie should definitely be crack!

It could HAPPEN to you

M. Night Shyamalan recently released his first rated R movie The Happening. I heard a lot of mixed emotions about the movie but after seeing it for myself I liked it a lot. I think the first problem is that everyone went into the movie expecting to see something so completely OD that it would blow your mind. If you think back to his recent movies, they have been marketed to seem completely OD, but in fact they are surprisingly realistic and intricate. His latest installment is no different. Try to get over any previously held misconceptions of the movie. Instead try and appreciate the down to earth character roles and comedic breaks, as well as the incredibly suspenseful scenes. And oh yea, the gore is definitely worth the R rating. Be a movie fan, don’t huff yourself, go see the Happening…or at least watch it online!

The Dark Knight:
The countdown to The Dark Knight is on. With an official release date of July 18th, comic book giant DC has kept fans salivating in anticipation. Here are a few exclusive pics from the movie, we also here there is a guest villain in the movie...guess who.
