Major Music: Glastonbury Festival

Jay-Z shut critics up this past weekend with his headlining performance at the Glastonbury festival in the UK. Lead singer Noel Gallagher from the rock group Oasis was quoted back in April 08’ that it was “wrong to have a hip-hop headliner for a traditional rock concert”, because “Glastonbury has a tradition of guitar music…I don't know about it. But I'm not having hip-hop at Glastonbury. It's wrong." He also stated that the crowd would not know Jay-z's lyrics and predicted the concert would have poor ticket sales. It sounded like Oasis member Noel wanted his band to headline the concert again this year like they did in 1995 and 2004. Too bad. Not only was the concert SOLD out, Jay-z opened the concert with Oasis' hit Wonderwall while he was playing a GUITAR, which leaded into 99 problems. Here’s a clip below:

Jay-z's opening act Amy Winehouse is three steps aways from insanity. She wild'out on a fan by punching and elbowing them in the face as she performed her hit Rehab. There were also rumors that out of no where Winehouse called Kanye West a c*nt. Well her exact words were “At least I'm not opening up for a c*nt like Kanye”. The so called "rumor" appears to be true. Simply fast forward to the 2:00 minute mark in the clip below, it’s clear as day. You can also catch her OD spazzing out attack on local fan.

Now we all know who rocked the guitar first...
