Feng Shui Beach House

Chances are you've heard of feng shui (pronounced "fung shway"), the Chinese discipline that teaches us how to attract and enhance our life energy (called chi) according to how our homes are arranged. My crib in college was arranged according to the feng shui discipline and it brought me many restful nights. Here is an example of how a peaceful home can bring you piece of mind. This Chilean home hanging over the Pacific is the epitomy of chill living. Divided in three floors it was named "Casa 11 Mujeres" and (House 11 Women, named like that because it was designed for a family with 11 daughters, ages four to twenty) was built with bare concrete with wood floors, glass, and steel on a 45 degree slope looking down Cachagua beach, 87 miles north of Santiago de Chile. The bottom floor contains shared spaces, while the second level has the daughters bedrooms all overlooking the sea, and the top floor has the master bedroom, kitchen, living room, and dining room. I don't know about you, but waking up every morning to this view would me in a constant good mood.

The 360 view is crazy, the position of the house gives the illusion that you are literally floating on the water. The home is contemporary yet simplistic in design, amazing architecture coupled with an extraordinary location and view yields my future crib! Via Dezeen
