U.S. Sen. Barack Obama has taken a 4-point lead over former U.S. senator John Edwards in Iowa, leaving Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York in third place, new polling indicates.
The lead changes come only hours before voters will cast nominating ballots in the nation's first caucus.Mr. Obama and Mr. Edwards both gained overnight in a Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby tracking poll, while Mrs. Clinton fell to third place. Analysts say if that trend holds, it would deal a heavy blow to the former frontrunner. Oprah's support is helping out I'd say.
