The recent exhibition Under the Influence: A Tribute to Stan Lee and the crowd it drew symbolized the effect Stan Lee has had on our generation. We are the generation that grew up on the early X-Men cartoons with the killer intro music. It seems at one time or another, somebody has been subjected to the creations of the storied illustrator. The whole collection of paintings and artwork created by various artists under inspiration from Marvel's catalog of heroes was made available by the host venue Gallery 1988. The collection in it's entirety can be seen here and is worth a look if you didn't have a chance to check our blog last week.
