Stella McCartney is no stranger to fashion. She has experience working under major high fashion labels like Chloe and Gucci and now designs women’s lines of her own. Her collaborative efforts include companies such as Adidas and H&M. In addition she has fragrance and handbag lines. While she designs beautiful pieces, she is simultaneously known for her animal rights activism and PETA membership. Her products are vegan, with no animals used; synthetic leathers and furs instead.
This spring, Stella has a new joint venture. Launching in February is a line of limited edition bags, backpacks, luggage, and more designed along with LeSportSac. Like Stella, LeSportSac does not use leather or animal products in their handbags. These bags, while varying in size, have similar color schemes.

Like many of the yoga clothes designed with Adidas, the predominant colors are plums and purples, blues, reds and pinks. The patterns vary but these bags are definitely something to keep on the lookout for. They are limited edition, so check lesportsac.com or your high end retailer (Bloomingdales carries LeSportSac, for sure) beginning next month.

(p.s. My favorite is the bunny backpack!)
Stella McCartney is pretty sweet. Thanks for the heads up--can't wait to check out these bags. Also, the bunny is ridiculous!
