USPS will release a series of stamps inspired by the creations of Eames. You may have also noticed a strong trend, not only in streetwear but in fashion towards superheroes and cartoons as of late. USPS follows suit and have released 2 series of Stamps, one inspired by the comic book covers of Marvel Comics, Captain America, Elektra, Iron Man, Silver Surfer, Spider-Man, Spider-Woman, Sub-Mariner, The Incredible Hulk, The Thing and Wolverine amongst others, and the other inspired by epic Star Wars scenes and characters. Of course the Marvel stamps are tigher than the Star Wars collection. I suspect these will some day be collectors items.Wednesday, January 30, 2008
