New Balance: Finally Something New
DC has always been a trend setter in terms of everyday kicks. We had the Nike Boots on smash way before they became a Hip Hop trend, and we definitely had the 991/992 New Balance trend on lock for years! It's good to see the kicks getting such a global notoriety but let's be serious people, what DC person do you know who doesn't own at least one pair of Newbies? This fall, for the first time, New Balance will be bringing new materials and color blocking variations to the classic 992. Luxury leathers and suede are some of the new materials used in the release. These two are out in August, the top joints are official, not so sure these leather joints will fly.
