Old Hov Looking...HUF

When you are on Jay-Z's level of celebrity you are always in the public eye. That translates into the need to always be fresh. Here we have Old Hov looking like something straight out of a Gap commercial...chances are since he has all that bread, those cargos aren't actually Gap brand. But what is he thinking? First what's with the all black, super fitted button-up but huge cargo pants? I bet those are the joints that zip off at the knee! I'm sorry, there is just no excuse for looking this Huf when you have substantial bread, hire a stylist brotha!

Raf Simons Snow Boots

This is no Napolean Dynamite type of snow boot! We present the Raf Simons Snow Boots exclusively available at Oki-Ni.com. First let's start off by saying wow. You'd think maybe a storm trooper or something from Astron Delta would be wearing these, and I'm sure we'll see Kanye rocking them sometime soon. For snow boots though they are pretty interesting, they look like the design was specially crafted to allow for optimal comfort. Think when and where you would rock these...

HELLZ BELLZ Summer 2008

Don't mention women's streetware without mentioning Hellz Bellz. The brand was in the lab creating dope clothes for the ladies when there wasn't really a voice for them in streetwear. Now it's 08 and their Summer collection couldn't be looking better! Here is a nice lil' preview of the Hellz Bellz Summer '08 Collection appropriately called Heat Wave. The collection rolls with the recurring theme of bold graphic t-shirts, washed denim and tops. This is a strong summer collection, the badass photo shoot just adds to the aura of the clothes. Nike ACG: The Temple Of Olmec

Now here is a beauty...the Pendleton Limited Edition Nike ACG jacket. This is part of the new Nike ACG men’s life collection. You can't really tell from the picture but this is a 100% wool jacket, created as part of Nike ACG’s collaboration with Pendleton Mill in Portland, Oregon. These Pendelton guys are known for their Native American Trade shawls and blanket throws. What attracted Nike to this collabo? Well, the attributes of the wool make this jacket as breathable and durable as all the high-tech stuff we wear today. Only 375 will be created worldwide...this is a must have! Now when I first saw this jacket, I can't even front I thought it was LRG. Then I saw the ACG triangle offense logo and was shocked. Nike is really trying to compete in the "fresh gear" market, and they are REALLY doing it big. The Native American print fading from a prominent exterior to interior hood lining is dope. Again, we see a jacket that can instantly become a favorite to many people. Look out for this to release sometime soon, we'll keep you posted.

DC I'm almost home...It's good to see the hometown making serious moves. As you can see our very own artist Wale has teamed up with 10 Deep for a mix-tape release party this Friday in Soho. China Earthquakes: Esoteric Agenda?

So I'm not sure how many of you were able to check out The Esoteric Agenda video on Google...If you haven't you should!!! It is a very insightful piece that touches on population control, and how various countries are implementing malicious tactics to control population. After seeing this video, I was not surprised by this article on the recent quakes in China. But as always, only trust your own research:"There has been a heated debate over whether the recent devastating earthquake in China was predicted before it took place. Critics are accusing the political regime of being very irresponsible in ignoring earthquake warnings and thereby causing the loss of tens of thousands of lives."

"According to Chen, China has been predicting earthquakes since the Xingtai earthquake back in 1966, which killed 8,064 people. "Through continuous scientific research and information gained from many actual cases, we can make a prediction on a certain type of earthquake." However, after the earthquake in Sichuan took place, Zhang Ziaodong from the China Earthquake Networks Center held a press conference at China's State Department on May 13. At the conference Zhang denied the quake in Sichuan was predictable and said that predicting earthquakes was a "difficult task worldwide."

It's The Final Countdown!

So today is my last final exam...Stat 202. After this I'm done people, it's a wrap for that college game. And let me tell you, it definitely is a game. One thing I learned about college is that you have to be willing to take risks, and go out on a limb to get the apple. Making connections with teachers pays off in the long-run, and if you don't like your school within the first few months to a year TRANSFER!!! College these days is more of a business than anything else, there are a few select professors who truly care about you and your future, so build friendships with them. On the other hand there are professors who merely lecture to receive their check sir. Here is something for you to put in perspective...who really NEEDS college? No one. College is pointless I believe unless you are training to become a lawyer, doctor, or engineer. I've learned more from my experiences in college than from my textbooks and classes. Just a few thoughts...

"Marvel Comics wants to port their comics to mobile phones. Seems like a perfect thing to read while you're supposed to be paying attention to what's going on around you, but not sure how you're going to get through full page spreads while maintaining text readability on 3-inch screens.

Solar Powered Shade
There have been many designs for solar panels, but none quite like these so-called VEIL Solar Shades from designer Büro North, which block out the sun's rays just as well as they capture it. In addition to being light enough for a child to turn on a swivel (they're designed specifically for schools), the shades would apparently also boast a pattern of LED lights on their undersides, which would indicate if they're in the optimal position to gather the maximum amount of solar energy. My guess is this will become pretty standard within the next few years.

Old-School Phones
Remember these? My pops had the Motorola back in the day, when he had the Alfa Romeo drop top...stuntin like he aint have no kids! Nah but it was OD brolic, and battery life lasted for an hour or two tops! This was back when cell phones were primarily used for emergency use only. Look how the times have changed...

Captain America: Daniel Johnston

The kids at Dirty Pilot debut the work of Captain America creator Daniel Johnston today in a show called 4 Decades of Captain America. We see the changes over the course of Johnston's career, as well documented through this collection of drawings from the mid 1970s through 2005, Daniel has continuously wrestled artistically with his signature character Captain America. These are not the Captain America pics you may be used to, in fact some of them are pretty weird, but weird is wonderful. via Juxtapoz but check out here

Biggie: Warning Live

Supra: Built Tuf

The latest in high performance skate shoes, the Supra Tuf collection is made to outlast every other skate shoe on the market. The entire collection is made from abrasion resistant and waterproof material. Skaters Chad Muska and Erik Ellington both tested out the TUF Skytops and said they are by far the longest lasting skate shoes ever. The Supra Tuf collection is set to release in early June.

Fresh Caught Boston Lobster

Concepts, in Cambridge Mass. will be releasing their collaborative Nike SB “Lobster” Dunk on Saturday, May 31st. The shoe will only be available at Concepts. The Nike SB Lobster will come in special packaging which will include a lobster claw rubber band , a tee shirt, a condiment box (which includes lobster shell cracker, fork, bib, an extra set of laces, and wet nap) and a poster , all put into a traditional paper bag used by typical, New England lobster retailers.
Concepts takes this release one step further by having it catered by Legal Seafood. The special pack will be extremely limited to 200 pairs, and will retail for $150 USD and the first 50 pairs will come with a special, limited edition wooden box.

Holiday Style

So everyone has a day off today except those of us that are still at school. Yea it's pretty sad, its a nice day out, cool breeze and all that, only I gotta have my head in a damn Stat 202 book all day! I'm dead tight about this...so if you happen to be able to chill and relax today, ENJOY IT! Here's how my day went thus far:
8:00 am - wake up, realize I'm still trapped at UD, go back to sleep

9:00 am - wake up again, realize that graduation is around the corner, panic sets in for my Wednesday Stat exam. Not feeling 100%, sinus attack! Go to drug store, buy drugs (benedryl), toilet paper, orange juice

10:00 am - back at the mansion, sinuses are killing me: pop one benedryl, meet up with Rastio, hit Central Perk to try and study, no luck...it was too nice of a day, resistance is futile. Chill in the shop, crack open the book, then the drowsy power hits me, I'm stuck

11:00 am - leave the coffee shop, pop another benedryl, go back to the mansion. Nose stops running, but throat and head is still f'd up. take third benedryl...thats the last I remember

3:30 pm - Rastio calls to tell me he got a new Whip! sleep so I missed it...newly signed EF artist Justo hit me up to discuss this new logo...sleep so missed it. PR Pe$0 hits me up to discuss this Summer event we're planning in DC...sleep, but he bangs on the door so I wake up

4:15 pm - Pe$o and Streetz decide to have a pow wow in my room so I figure sleeping again is out of the question

5:00 pm - Shower, drink a mixture of half water half orange juice...me and Streetz take Rastio's new whip for a spin...my life was in danger, this was Rastio's first time behind the wheel! Nah it was straight, the whip has OD acceleration, we even beat this old woman who tried to race us!

6:00 pm - nap time

12:24 am - just waking up, so it was food poisoning...son of a gun. Feeling a lil better now, my blog power is returning!

Here you have Old Hov and Diddy, together you probably have a billion dollars, and they definitely like to show that they have bread. Peep the suits...Diddy has always been known to rock a crisp, nicely tailored suit but these days Old Hov got his suit game up! The three partied it up at OH's exclusive VIP party at Palm Beach Casino in Cannes. From the picture, it looks like Hov just made a joke about him and Beyonce in the yacht hot tub...she got a face on like "you better not be telling him about last night" !!!

New Skate Gear

So early this morning I went on a cruise session. I boarded around school to get some exercise, and get my mind right for the week ahead. I encourage all you readers to cop a freestyle cruiser. They are great to just cruise around uncharted territory, or explore a new city, kinda like you own mini adventure.
