Pho Hiep Hoa, located in downtown Silver Spring, MD wins bragging rights for one of the most delicious meals of food imaginable. Pho is served as a bowl of white rice noodles in clear beef broth, with thin cuts of beef or chicken. Garnish with some bean sprouts, sauce, and a bit of lime to complete the cipher.
Our Expressive Frontier journalist, Laura Smith recently caught up with Sam Madison, a college student who just finished a meal with some friends.
Laura: So do you come here often?
Sam: Pho is a special occasion, you only come when you're ready to feast. We just celebrated another successful semester. Senior year baby!
Laura: Right. So generally what do you order?
Sam: Who me, ha, well I usually get the large beef Pho, extra bean sprouts, grilled pork/chicken/shrimp combination and spring rolls. It's just so delicious, I can't help myself.
Laura: Well your in good shape for you're 30's, and Pho is healthy correct?
Sam: I'm 21 lady, in my prime. As for Pho being healthy, absolutely!
The Vietnamese restaurant is just a few minutes walk from the Silver Spring metro stop, or parking garage. The Pho Hiep Hoa service is great, and you can even watch the game on their two sixty inch flat screen televisions. The staff here at EF highly recommends stopping by for a meal. We give Pho Hiep Hoa five out of five stars, a truly delicious meal of food.
