Nike SB Quagmire

Based on one of the funniest characters on Family Guy the Quagmire Dunk Hi is interesting. They clearly resemble Quagmires outfit from the cartoon. I like the concept but they definitely need more work. As of now they are rumored to release in 2009. When we get more info on them we'll let you know. One Off Frogskin's

A little while ago we showed you the Andrew Peterson hand painted Oakley collection. The 50 pairs of sunglasses will go for $350 a piece and are only available at premium accounts around the US as of tomorrow, October 31st. You can look at the entire collection here but there's no way to know what shops have which glasses. I would definitely cop the black and gold ones pictured above, but 350 is not agreeable. The North Face Purple Label: Herringbone Packsacks

The North Face Purple Label has released some dope new bags this season. Recently a new Herringbone collection dropped, consisting of two herringbone patterns, one in beige, the other in grey. A gem of the collection was the pack of two technical backpacks. Both styles come in two colorways and are now available at Atmos. The grey joint is a great low key everyday type of bag. The other color is a bit too festive for everyday occasions. Actually I would only cop the grey one.

Nike SB Quickstrike: Dunk Low Mosquito

Just yesterday we showed you the entire Nike SB November collection. It seems Nike had a little surprise for us. Scheduled to release on November 11 the Mosquito Dunk is definitely going to sell out quick. The Mosquito feature's a half translucent red/half speckled green sole, a cartoon mosquito printed on the insole, and skin toned/lime green/blood red color-up. the official release party is going to take place at Cal Surf in Minneapolis. Wassuuup For Change

Do you remember back in 99 when Budweiser came out with the Wassuup commercial? 60Frames Entertainment created this short clip which puts a political spin on the original Budweiser commercial. Its a funny commercial with a serious message. I think its one of the best political commercials I've seen. What do you think?

The Hundreds x Medicom

The Hundreds recently teamed up with Medicom to work on a toy. I'm guessing we are finally going to see an Adam Bomb figure. There isn't much information on the actual toy but the box is crack. The Hundreds x Medicom toy is set to release November 13. Expect it to sell out quick so check your Local retailer to cop one.

November SB's Coming Soon

With October coming to an end Nike SB is set to release their November Collection. This November release is packed. It consists of the Heroes and Villains pack, the McFly Air Zoom Tre A.D, P-Rod 2, a Zoom Air Harbor, a Blazer, and a SB Classic. The McFly Nike Zoom Tre AD features a Grey/White upper, Teal accents in the speckled sole and embroidery, and like the original Air Mag, a Glow in the Dark Swoosh on the outer heel. Im definitely going to cop the McFly's and possibly the Blazers. There's too many dope kicks to just pick one, so head to your local SB retailer and pick some up. Be Supreme This Winter

With winter almost here I can only think of two things. How to keep warm and when spring is finally gonna be here. What better way to stay warm than a wool beanie and a nice sweater. Supreme just released a heavy Shawl Knit and a beanie. Both of the pieces have a very tribal Peruvian design, which is nice. Big Business: Diddy Making Moves

As Entrepreneur's we cant let this current recession keep us from making moves. It only means we have to be smarter. Today the news broke out that Diddy just bought the ultra HUFF clothing company Enyce from Liz Claiborne. In 2003 Liz Claiborne bought Enyce for 114 million, but Diddy just bought it for 20. I know we don't post on HUFF brands like Enyce but that's because they are basic edition and supremely stadard. I know Diddy must have major plans for it in the future. The Looney Tunes Splatter Exhibit

Do you remember watching the classic Looney Tune cartoons when you were younger? One thing that I loved about them is that no matter what happens to the character they would always be fine, they were invincible. Daffy Duck would get shot in the head by Bugs Bunny and he would never get hurt. jCauty&SON are currently holding an exhibit at The Aquarium in London that shows the reality of toon violence. Artist and Jewelry maker Gabe Urist recently hand-made a few pendents for the Obama campaign. The pendent has a simple design but I love the aged, vintage look of it. There's no word on whether the pendents will go on sale or not but we'll keep you posted.

Movie Monday: War Machine, The Truth Be Told!

So last week, we reported that Terrence Howard was replaced by Don Cheadle. Everyone was surprised, I was disappointed. Howard is the perfect fit to play War Machine, hands down. Some new research uncovers that Howard was in fact booted from the role. Supposedly a situation of breach of contract. Not a good look for Marvel or whoever screwed dude over. Here's what he says:

I read something in the trades that implicated it was about money or something but apparently the contracts that we write and sign aren't worth the paper that they're printed on. Vashtie Kola x Rogue Status Grenade

Weirdly enough, last night I had a dream about this random chic named Vashtie Kola. Now I've never met or even heard of this chic until a few weeks ago reading something in a magazine. Anyway...in the dream we were walking around in a mall, talking fashion. What's hot and what's wack type of sh*t. Then she asked me some of my favorite brands...I told her just a few the basics, Vintage Stussy, Dffrnt Wrld, Lakai, and then mentioned Rogue Status...When I mentioned that brand she stopped, looked at me and was like "Rogue Status!?! You dont seem like a Rogue type of guy"...then I woke up. Don't really know what the hell that means, but Vashtie is goodmoney(too bad Skateboard P already wifed it!). She gets fly, and I'm willing to bet she can see any dudes shoe game! But it's crazy becuase just now I came accross this Rogue Statues snowboard jacket. Teleport for details


Grenade and Rogue Status have once again joined forces. For the Grenade Artist Series, Rogue Status designed a jacket featuring their almost played out Gun Show graphic. I wouldn't rock this anyweat but on the slopes. All over print got way to saturated like 1.5-2 years ago, it's not a good look for city wear. The detail on this piece however is pretty dope. The grenade draw strings are cool, and the interior pockets and Grenade patches add to the jacket as well.

SoleBox Website Re-Launch

Solebox has just relaunched their website, this is the 4th version. The new design look s alot like the Apple interface you are used to from iTune coverflow. This is a real creative approach to sneaker sales. It's a pretty cool concepts worth checking out.

Carter III Re-released With All New Songs?

MTV had the chance to speak with Lil Wayne last Saturday at the BET Hip-Hop Awards and he said that he will be dropping a new version of Tha Carter III with brand new songs. All new songs...guess he's dipping into the Young Money collection. He's probably doing this to have people go out and buy the Carter III all over again, and increase his numbers for the album...smart.

The Umoja Village

I was lucky to stumble upon this video, it's inspiring and makes you want to do some good in the world. There is a place in Miami called Umoja Village...a plot of land where homeless people have united to create a village. Chores are shared, shanti houses are built by village dwellers, and each person does their part to make sure the village prospers. If the homeless who have little to nothing can show such a powerful display of unity, why can't everyone else in this country? I don't even know these people but I can honestly say that I am proud of them. They are setting an example for the rest of our country. Make the best of each situation, and united we stand. Enjoy:

Saturday Morning Cartoons: Hulk vs...

No full episodes today kids, instead here are a few previews of full DVD's that are slated to drop this January. Hulk vs Everyone! So far the only leaks we've been able to grab hold of are Hulk vs Wolverinve and Hulk vs Thor...but rumor has it there will be a Hulk vs Iron Man and even Hulk vs Juggernaut! DC x New Era 20/94 Enzo Collection

Every once and a while DC skate brand will come out with a dope pair of skate shoes. A design that perfectly mixes style and skateability, if that's a word. The latest in the collaborative effort between DC Shoes and New Era’s 20/94 project is the Enzo Collection. Inspired, obviously, by the Skateboard P Ferrari Enzo, the shoe and fitted come with a variety of leather treatments. Red, naturally, comes as a primary color. A black option is also available. Oddly enough, the structure of these kicks are similar to the Nike Air Yeezys...only the bubble bottom is a major plus for DC. The black version is the one I'll be copping, remember classics people. UD Homecoming 2008...I Think Not

So I guess it's been a lil time since I been outta college at WackD. A few people been hittin me up on some "come through bro, it's gonna be like old times". Um...right, I don't know if you remember correctly but the "old times" at University of Delaware were HUFF!

WOW speak of the devil, an old college associate of mine "Damo" just called me while I was writing this post, comedy. Anyway she's currently trying to convince me that UD Homecoming is gonna be poppin which I know it's not. I'm trying to convince her, that like McCain...more of the same is lame, hint hint. Sooo...back to the thoughts. Some of my boys from college still live in the Green Mansion...from their reports I gather that UD hasn't changed too much since graduation. So that means:

1) The girls will still mistake you for townies at night even if you know and are friends with them during non vampire hours

2) Some football dudes still haven't figured out how to get fly...You guys are still like a full year to year.5 behind, check the blog, it will cise your life.

3) This is a weekend for UD groupies...so the groupies currently there will be wild'n out, and the groupies that graduated will be returning.

4) Something racist is bound to happen there this weekend...it's just how that campus is.


Shout out to Benny though, dude still has the best sandwiches in existence...go cop several, ask for the Green Mansion Special with chilli. And to my homies at the Green Mansion and all those affiliated with GMB...hold it down this weekend. GMB was FLY before it was fashionable. Everyone knows we were the first on the block...and we had EVERYONE's joint come through to parlay with the Green Mansion Boys. So like Justo says...LIGHT UP...just make the best of it!

The Hundreds x Livestock x eS: Black Box Release

Officially named The Boarder Control Pack, The Hundreds x Livestock x eS collaboration is set to release this Saturday. The Hundreds got together with Canadian retailer Livestock and eS to work on the “Boarder Control” project. The pack features Livestock’s take on the classic Theory mid. While The Hundreds reinterpreted the Square One. The Hundreds kept it simple with an all black color-way and Livestock used a cool green and blue colorway. The Boarder Control pack will be released on October 18th in a very limited quantity at ony Livestock and The Hundreds flagship locations. But on the On October 20th they will hit online retailers.
