I hate seeing people with the same denim I got on...I present you with some images of the denim collection. Art collectors and denim connoisseurs have a new object of desire; a handful of ultra-rare Levi’s® 1947 501® jeans turned into unique works of art by celebrated contemporary artist Damien Hirst. The skulls are a dope addition to the legendary denim, need these badly. They are serious bread thought...takes a few pennies to set yourself apart from those not living the lifestyle. Teleport for full length pics and more info:
Hirst, whose works recently fetched an amazing £111 million in just two days, breaking all auction records previously held by Picasso, has turned seven pairs of iconic 1947 501® jeans into canvases to create unique signature Spin Paintings. It'd be like wearing artwork to skate in.
Only one of these crack pair of denim will be exhibited and sold in the UK to mark the arrival of the Damien Hirst X Levi’s® collection. With a reserve price of £15,000, it was unveiled at Cinch, Newburgh St, last Wednesday 16th October, where it was sold through a silent auction. Which is OD when you think about what it for. The Levi’s® X Damien Hirst collection revolves around three key themes of Damien Hirst’s body of work – the skull, spots and tropical butterfly. Levi’s® 501® jeans in black and over-dye blue are teamed with white, black and deep purple.
