The Bright Side of Recession

With this current recession we are all going through some rough times but Skaters in Southern California are taking advantage of the many foreclosures by draining empty pools and skating them. An empty pool is heaven to some skaters. A recent NY times article gives an account of Josh Peacock a SOCAL skater and his hunt for the perfect abandoned pool. Its an interesting article about the surplus of deserted pools. The article made me think of classic skaters like Dogtown and Chris Hosoi, check the clip below.
