Hancock Secret Screen Shots:For all of you who went out and contributed to Will Smiths $107 million dollar box office weekend, bet ya didn't catch this. There was a scene in Hancock where a giant humanoid figure is shown walking amongst the storm. Some say it's bigfoot, you be the judge. Look around the 10 sec point in the clip:
Hulk vs Wolverine:
Can it really be? This dark, violent, smash and slash story was first told in issue 181 of The Incredible Hulk and the rematches have continued to thrill comic fans ever since. Now Marvel and Lionsgate takes the best of those famous comic book battles and merges them into one. Coming January 2009.
Rockers...It's Dangerous:It's been a while since we've posted on some classic films and we know there's nothing better than relaxing to an old-school movie you've never seen. We present "Rockers" a 1978 film by Ted Bafaloukos. Several popular reggae artists star in the movie, including Leroy "Horsemouth" Wallace, Burning Spear, Gregory Isaacs, Big Youth and Jacob Miller. Rockers was originally to be a documentary but blossomed into a full-length feature showing the reggae culture at its peak. In this film, the culture, characters and mannerisms are authentic. The main rocker Leroy "Horsemouth" Wallace, for example, is shown living with his actual wife and kids and in his own home. The recording studios shown are the famous Harry J Studios where many roots reggae artists recorded during the 70s including Bob Marley. Samples of the film's dialogue were used in the early 1990's jungle track, "Babylon" by Splash. The Jamaican Patois spoken throughout the film is rendered with English language subtitles for those who don't get down.
