Burger wars continue here in LA, and the competition is fierce. Today challenger was non other than Fatburger. Conveniently located directly across from Astro Burger. Fatburger had their game face on as Rosa helped me decide which burger to order. I ended up getting the turkey burger with chili and the works, iced tea, chili cheese fries, and a choc. shake...the feast begins. Teleport for full review:
This is a normal meal at Fatburger. The fries were too thin and tasteless, the chili tasted like it was fresh out the can. At least the photos make the food look good.
hhmmm...burger. Each burger is nothing but a mere challenge, a challenge to see how quickly you can devour a feast. The wheat bun was a nice touch, but far too much relish and mustard. It made the burger sloppy and watery.
Like a vampire, the first bite is always the best..wait no that's creepy. The is the "feast" bite, and for Fatburger the first bite was average.
30 seconds later and we have recyclables...finished pretty quick with no breaks, the burger was too small. To be honest the fries tasted like shredded cheese and canned chilli on top of cardboard strips.
This burger joint was kind of grimey, the tables and outdoor areas looked like jail furniture, but that's just me. I rate this place a solid 2.8/5 for delicious burgers. Only go here if you are short on luck, it's like an upscale burger king, with bad fries. If you are in Cali and want to check for yourself, be my guest...but remember, I told ya so.Neighborhood: Santa Monica
