Movie Madness: Forgetting Sarah Marshall

So the other night I finally got some free time to go movie cruising. It's pretty self-explanatory, a time to catch up on old movies you wanted to see, but never got around to. I hit up TV-Links, was in the mood for some comedy and decided to check out Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Peep the trailer, and read the review after the teleport

The movie was hilarious...the type of funny that makes you turn your head away because you're embarrassed for the characters. You know it's good when the director just had box office comedy hits like 40 year Old Virgin and Superbad. It starred Jason Segal (who is weirdly similar to my boy Sam Strasser) a music producer for a hit CSI type show. Pretty much, his girl does him dirty and cheats on him, then he takes down (serves) mad joints to try and get over the pain, but to no avail. His broham advises he take a vacation to get away from everything...he heads to Hawaii, and suprisingly his ex-wifey is there with her new boyfriend...From the time he realizes this it's non stop laughter. Jonah Hill, the chubby guy from Superbad has a few scenes which were hysterical, but Mila Kunis stole the show. First let me say that Mila is by far one of the hottest girls I've ever seen with mini-butt syndrome. Her swagger and fun-loving kick-ass spirit made each scene more enjoyable. To all guys reading this...watch this movie purely because of Mila Kunis' performance. She's like that super chill girlfriend you only see in movies like this. Check it out

Pure Comedy: Palin Explains Herself on SNL

I know it might seem like were being a little harsh on Sarah Palin, but were not the only ones. It's only fair that we give her a chance to explain herself. This past weekend Governer Palin got a much needed second chance to explain her comments on SNL. Below is the entire interview, enjoy.

Only In N.Y.

Only in New York can artist Bansky do a three story high piece on a building. Commissioned by an unknown donor, Bansky went to work this past week. The final product is a giant rat rocking an I love NY Tee. My favorite part is how the rat is drawing a little mouse in crayon. This is another crack piece from Bansky, it leaves me wondering whats next. Teleport for more pics.

Sarah Palin Really DID Say That!

So I generally try to watch very little television programming...but still heard about Sarah Palin's remarks about her foreign policy experience stemming from Alaska's proximity to Russia. Now believe me, I was in disbelief when I saw this. I immediately wondered...is the rest of the country seeing the same interview I'm seeing? Then when she has the opportunity to correct herself...she just digs herself a deeper hole! Check it out, it's hard to believe people are taking this woman seriously.

You can look in her eyes and see what must be going through her head: "oh sh*t, I hope this works"

Vans Shambles Hi - Pro Model

The latest pro model from Geoff Rowley and Vans is the Shambles Hi. Three color choices, the best is pictured above. There is also black and red which I would use primarily as skate shoes. The overall design is simple, with a nice strap to add a little detail. Expect these to drop early October. via Complex

Major Music: Cayan - The Lab

On a D3 beat reminiscent of old-school hip hop, Cayan spits a few bars to show his versatility. This is a real mellow track, and Cay went in! See if you can catch all the punch lines and metaphors, enjoy:

Johnny Depp As The Riddler: Movie Monday:

In an interview with MTV News, Michael Caine seemed to confirm rumors that the next installment of the “Batman” film franchise will feature two very well-known names playing the roles of The Riddler and the Bumbershoot Bandit, The Penguin. “They’ve already got them in mind,” said Caine, when asked who he’d like to see take up arms against the Caped Crusader. “It’s Johnny Depp as The Riddler. And The Penguin is Philip Seymour Hoffman. I read it in the paper.”

So Caine is getting his information from where? Except for one thing…according to the actor, he confirmed the news through the studio itself. We could be facing another monumental Batman Movie...they just keep getting better.

McCain's A No Show

Local producers in the area submitted their beats in hopes that the judges and crowd would fux with them. They put their all into each and every beat...it was any rappers dream to hear crack beat after beat. Before and after the event live freestyle sessions were held, where artist Jamilla and XO killed it! The winner of the beat competition was Philopadaumus...he won a dope prize package from Major and some nice custom artwork which was made DURING THE COMPETITION...Check out pics from the event after the teleport. stay tuned for the winning beat.
