The Shelter Cart: Homeless Get Hooked Up

EF always makes community service and helping those less fortunate a permanent goal for our team. Today we've found two dudes who share those values. DC's homeless count is staggering...this invention aims to help those in less fortunate situations. Ireland-based designer Gregor Timlin collaborated with Barry Sheehan (of Sharc Design) to create The Shelter Cart, a carrier for bottles and cans that can also transforms into a makeshift plastic shack shelter. Clearly this is created specifically for homeless folks who make money from recycling, Timlin and Sheehan took home a social awareness award for the project back in 2006. If these become retail items they would make great presents for homeless men and women all over the city. Peep more photos of the Shelter Cart after the teleport:

Hopefully our PR team...Ms. Pots! can contact these dudes and see if they'd like to donate one of these inventions to team EF...we would then decorate and present the cart to one of the homeless in Downtown DC...so lets hope Ms. Pots makes some moves.
