Lost: "The Other Woman" Review

"The Other Woman" has the daunting task of following one of the most OD episodes in the first four seasons of Lost 2008. Last week's, "The Constant" was a major turning point for the series and my life, so naturally we expected the next episode to reflect that change in direction. In that respect, "The Other Woman" succeeds. It also sheds a little light on the motives of the freighter crew, and just how diabolical Ben really is.
Ben's Plan:

"The Other Woman" is an episode that thrives on misdirection, which is appropriate considering that a large majority of the episode is focused on Ben's character and his ability to manipulate those around him. Ever since Ben suggested that the Others were "the good guys" at the end of season two, there has been much speculation as to how much truth that statement held. This episode is a Juliet flashback and finally breaks her robotic personality. As always there is a great deal of focus on Ben's motives and whether or not he should be trusted. Clearly his mind games are on point, don't trust him.
