Lately we’ve found a few things, while not deserving of their own post, are interesting enough to mention. Enjoy the weekend randoms!
One: Pete Wentz (emo posterboy/FallOutBoy front man/wearer of ‘guyliner’/boyfriend of Ashlee Simpson) is no stranger to the fashion scene.

He has already designed a capsule collection for DKNY, and modeled the line himself. Now Nordstrom wants him too. Soon arriving to the BP. department, a line of unisex clothing under his label, Clandestine Industries. This apparently will be a big tie-in launch, with exclusive music etc. as the BP. department is targeted towards teenagers using fast fashion. Most BP. departments have a giant screen, where they constantly play hip music videos or have artist interviews. Pete Wentz will be everywhere; I might be terrified.

Two: Rachel Bilson, actress/TV star (her claim to fame: playing against M.Barton on the OC) –and soon to be: fashion designer? DKNY has recruited Miss Bilson to design a capsule collection a la Pete Wentz, except of course influenced by her own carefree style.

Three: Converse seems to be everywhere these days as well. First a collaboration with John Varvatos, then a One Star line of shoes, accessories, and clothing at Target. Not to mention that classic Chuck Taylors are always fly. Now Lucien Pellat-Finet has designed a shoe for the classic company, incorporating his trademark skulls and shapes into a pattern for both high- and low- tops; high tops also come with pins in those same shapes, which gives them a really cool 3D appeal.
