Everybody knows that the best source of light is the SUN. Lighting your home as well as brightening your spirit, sunshine is a totally free and environmentally friendly source of light. While opening blinds is an obvious way to bring more light into your life, not everyone has large bay windows or a room with a view. After two years of research Italian designers, Diego Rossi and Raffaele Tedesco, combining engineering and design, created the Luceplan “Zeno light” for just such people. The Zeno lighting system (an example of light “piping”) collects exterior light and transmits it to interior light fixtures. Although not yet available in the US, keep your shades ready for this new ray of light.
