The days of artificial intelligence are closer than we may think. United Arab Emirates are ahead of the standard world with their gasoline-free Masdar City. Our planet will now witness the PRT (personal rapid transit) system, driverless electric taxis that take to the streets later this year. When the system's fully built, planners say the podcars will be able to deliver riders within 100 meters of any location in the city. The whole network of tracks for the cars will be two stories beneath street level. Cheaper than walking/biking? Its creators say the system will pay for itself by charging riders the same price they'd pay for an equivalent taxi ride. Looks a lot like the movies doesn't it?

Staying true to its roots the P-Rod 3 is a skate shoe. It is meant to be skated. Paul Rodriguez was recently wearing his new shoe during a skate session. The picture was taken on a recent visit to the University of South Carolina. Phelps was visiting his girlfriend and they went to a party. The American Eagle boxers we showed you a while ago have been recalled. American Eagle has pulled the boxers from all of their stores and from their website. I guess the guys over at TH headquarters caught wind of the rip-off and took action. I applaud the hundreds crew for taking such action to protect the integrity of their brand.
Some people expected this collaboration to happen last year, but these Kiks Tyo joints are just releasing and already selling out! Marvel Comics lent the brand some of their signature super-heroes for the collabo. The shirts are very creative, the Marvel heroes have been transformed into the fresh kicks they would wear or represent. Overall a really dope concept.

Those of us who can't afford takion beam inertial dampeners use Crackberrys. You know, business people like Hov, Skateboard P, and Obama. Well, according to White House security protocol all cellular devices and external email systems must be discontinued in order to prevent a White House security compromise. Now, Barack Obama is putting his beloved BlackBerry to work. Upon returning to the White House on Thursday morning after a trip to his younger daughter’s school for a class presentation, the president walked along the West Wing Colonnade toward the Oval Office while looking down at the electronic communicating device he held in both hands.
White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said last week that a compromise had been reached to allow the president to use the BlackBerry to keep in touch with senior staff and some personal friends. He did not say with whom the compromise had been struck.
Gibbs said Obama will limit its use, and that security has been enhanced to protect his communications.
Previous presidents chose not to use e-mail because it can be subpoenaed by Congress and the courts, and may be subject to public records laws.
Gibbs said the presumption from the White House counsel’s office is that the e-mails will be subject to the Presidential Records Act, which requires the National Archives to preserve presidential records. But he also said some exemptions in the law allow for “strictly personal communications.” He did not say how that classification would be determined, but made clear that the device could be used for both business and personal exchanges.
Obama’s BlackBerry has been a constant companion, and he had noted publicly that he was negotiating to find a way to keep it despite security concerns and records-keeping issues.
Gibbs said that Obama believes using the device will help him escape the “bubble” that surrounds the president.
