UBIQness

Artists Lazy and Darbotz worked on a custom Ubiq eL, something one does not come across too often. The end result is impressive. Darbotz worked on the drawings on the case as well as the inner sole screen print and Lazy worked on the carvings on the strap, which turned out to look similar to a laser graphic.

The shoes will be available at Know It Nothing in Singapore. Have a detailed look at them after the jump.

The pine-wood shoe box is different to say the least. Might be hard to store, but if sturdy enough could be a neat bench.

It's always the details people don't see that matter most. UBIQ brings classic flair to the game with these El's, like chill driving shoes.

The Lifestyle Of J's

Jordan introduces the PHLY, a lifestyle oriented sneaker. It's a well known fact that most J's are made to ball in, these however are made to chill in. The PHLY takes clear inspirations in terms of colors and patterns from Jordan classics, without putting too much of the performance features into them. Not really too sure how I feel about these...what do you think?

The Jordan PHLY is now available at Ubiq in two colorways.

New Ubiq Line, Crack

One of my favorite Japanese brands Ubiq is about to release its latest pack of the eL. This shoe looks mad comfortable. This time it comes inspired by the outdoors, featuring a complete suede upper with a matching tonal sole. The tag on the tongue includes a deer, underlining the concept behind the pack. Overall the eL comes in 4 color ways, a great shoe for cruising the city.

Look out for these the 18th of February at Flauge. Check them out below.
