This past Saturday our hometown DC got a little present. DC became the home to a brand new Stussy store. As if Commonwealth wasn't enough, Stussy is two doors down! The day started off early with a line forming before the doors even opened.
People waited as the final finishing touches were be put on the new shop. Here you can see how Stussy kept paper over the doors to build suspense.
No cameras allowed they told us, but we managed. Here you see most of the Nike Dunk x Stussy and Stussy x New Balance collaborations. The store had the S/S 2008 all-over print hoodies as well a range of new Stussy fitteds. The store also had some exclusive new t's and a black towel with a gold Stussy logo all over print design.
The shop is kind of small in comparison to NY and LA locations, but it fits well in the heart of Adams Morgan. During our trip there, famed DC rapper Wale was in the shop checkin out the new collections. DC is coming up, soon to be a well known name in fashion. We're proud of our hometown.
