Napapijiri Napapijiri Napapijirji!

When I first saw this jacket, I had to get a closer look. Yes, it is that dope. Crafted by the winter wear masters, Italian based brand Napapijiri. Great for DC winters it's a pullover jacket with a snorkel hood and eco-friendly fur trim. The 2008 limited-edition Napapijri Skidoo jacket is constructed entirely of Limonta nylon from Italy. Insulated with down in the larger torso sections and eco-safe micro-pile around the collar and pockets, this jacket is made for rough and extreme weather conditions. Lastly, zippered pockets and a zippered side vent allow you to easily pull the Napapijri Skidoo on or off.

The name is tricky but the gear is no joke. When you check out their website here you'll find that nearly every piece in the 08/09 collection including accessories is goodmoney. Their vintage-tech style is unique, making each piece timeless. The jacket above is the Limited Edition Skidoo, and was limited to 25 pieces. Try and find one, I'd be thoroughly impressed. Primitive: P-Rods New Boutique

Paul Rodriguez just opened up his new sneaker/skate boutique, Primitive in Encino. Premium+ Magazine caught up with him and his partners for a brief interview and some footage of the shop. The shop looks crack and their selection of Nikes is going to be crazy. If you look closely you can even see the sold out Eugene backpack. I see primitive becoming one of the best spots in Cali to cop exclusive SB's and dont be surprised when talk of a Primitive x Nike SB colloboration spreads over the web. Nike Future Sole Design Competition

I remember a few years ago, NikeTalk was a haven for some unreal sketches of visionary shoe designers. The names have eluded me now, but some guy I remember scored a gig with FILA as well. Nike has initiated the Future Sole Design Competition for budding high school students to submit their designs in hopes of becoming a new footwear designer for Nike. The contest begins January 1st, 2008 and wraps up May 15th, 2008. A full list of information and rules can be seen here.
